Heartcode BLS Provider with Skills

BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1 presents cognitive information through a series of case-based scenarios, videos and interactive exercises. Upon successful completion of part 1, including the online written test, a Part 1 Certificate of Completion is available for you to print.

This certificate must then be presented for Parts 2 and 3, the hands-on skills practice and testing session with our American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor. Students will receive an AHA BLS Providers Course Completion card, upon successful completion of all three parts. This online course provides an alternative to classroom training for healthcare professionals seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion card.

The BLS course content include key changes in basic life support science from the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC, critical concepts of high-quality CPR, the AHA Chain of Survival, 1-Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant, 2-Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant, differences between Adult, Child and Infant rescue techniques, bag-mask techniques for Adult, Child and Infant, rescue breathing for Adult, Child and Infant, relief of choking for Adult, Child and Infant, CPR with an advanced airway- introduction to the compression/ventilation rate and ratio for a patient who has an advanced airway in place.

If you have already purchased and completed Part 1, then you can sign up or call our office to schedule a time for your BLS Providers skills practice and testing session (Parts 2 and 3).
