Heartsaver First Aid is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. The Heartsaver First Aid course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.

This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:

• First aid basics
• Medical emergencies
• Injury emergencies
• Environmental emergencies
• Preventing illness and injury

First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few. First Aid classes in Sacramento and Yuba City, students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card that is valid for two years.
