Heartsaver First Aid
Heartsaver First Aid is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. The Heartsaver First Aid course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.
This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few. First Aid classes in Sacramento and Yuba City, students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card that is valid for two years.
Heartsaver First Aid Classroom Course
Heartsaver® First Aid classroom course is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive.
Heartsaver First Aid Online with Skills
Heartsaver First Aid Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid Blended Learning Course and teaches information needed for first aid training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor. The price below includes the hands-on-portion.
Heartsaver First Aid Skills Only
If you purchased the Heartsaver First Aid online portion directly from the American Heart Association, you will need to pay here separately for the hands-on skills to receive a course completion card.
